Oil seal leakage is a common problem, usually occurring on rotating shafts, such as pumps and engines. The causes of oil seal leakage may include the following:

1. Oil seal aging
After prolonged use, the oil seal will lose its sealing performance due to aging, leading to leakage.
2. Oil seal damage
The oil seal may develop cracks or wear due to damage or abrasion from external objects, resulting in leakage.
3. Improper installation
If the oil seal is not installed correctly or securely, it will also cause leakage.
4. Bearing failure
Bearing failure can cause shaft misalignment or vibration, which in turn affects the sealing performance of the oil seal, leading to leakage.
To remedy the oil seal leakage problem, the following measures can be taken:
1. Replace the oil seal: If the oil seal is aged or damaged, the most effective method is to replace it with a new one.
2.Check the bearing: If a bearing failure is found to be causing the oil seal leakage, the bearing needs to be replaced or repaired promptly.
3. Adjust the installation: Check that the oil seal is installed correctly, ensuring it is properly seated and secure.
4. Check the lubrication system: Ensure the lubrication system is functioning properly to prevent oil seal leakage due to insufficient or uneven lubrication.
